“There’s always a place for actors that can do voices.”- Larry Storch

Noah James Butler hails from the state of New Mexico. His first bite from the ‘Acting Bug’ occurred when he was cast in an episode of “Unsolved Mysteries”, which happened to be filming in his home town of Socorro. After graduating high school, he attended The American Music and Dramatic Academy in Manhattan, NY. After finishing AMDA’s program, he decided he really enjoyed accruing debt, and attended The College of Santa Fe’s theatre program.

After moving to Oakland California, he began his theatre career. Noah has worked with many great theatre companies like Impact Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Marin Theatre Company, and The San Francisco Mime Troupe. The theatre will always be his first love, and has allowed Noah to shape and hone his craft.

Upon relocating to Los Angeles, California, Noah jumped head first into the realms of film and television. Snagging his first guest-star spot on Criminal Minds, other roles soon followed. Noah’s credits include Our Flag Means Death (dir. Fernando Frias), A.N.T. Farm, Mighty Med, One Life to Live, Undercovers, and Criminal Minds.

When not on set, Noah can be found in his home recording studio, working on various VO projects. He has found a particular niche in the world of audiobooks. Each audiobook is like a one man show, and it was an inevitable match for the actor. Dialects are his speciality, as well as mimicry, and original character voices. Always keen for a challenge, his latest audiobook “From One Cell: A Journey into Life’s Origins and the Future of Medicine” by Ben Stranger was a zinger and filled the actor with pride after a daunting task.

He is an avid practitioner of the Brazilian martial art Capoeira, he can sing, dance, and even limbo. How can you not hire this man?
